How To Look 10-20 Years Younger With Facial Exercises!

By Diana Montana

Anti aging is a method to make the effect of aging slower. This method also can help people live longer and healthier. Anti aging is a term that is used heavily today. Yet, there are many ways in which you can see a better skin or improved health and even defy the odds of getting older. Anti aging is a process in which you can stay young for a long time. And facial exercises can take off years off your face.

Women are always inquisitive about facial products and skin care regime. They always want to achieve better skin texture . Women over 30 begin to pay more attention to their faces before deep wrinkle lines settle in over time, but facial exercise is an activity women of all ages can benefit from.

Facial Exercises:

Facial exercise is second to none; it is my belief that prevention is always better than cure. Why wait until you have to reach for the knife, cosmetic surgery is great, if you are brave enough to venture down that path, but it can be risky and it is definitely expensive, if you are lucky enough to find a good surgeon! Facial exercise is the non-invasive approach to lifting and toning your facial features. It's never too early to start - even if you are under 40 - you should start facial exercises to maintain the great muscle tone you have for as long as possible.

Facial exercise is fast becoming a popular way to slow the aging process. Facial guidebooks have flourished on bookstore shelves and the Internet and there? even a mini gymnasium available for your face! Facial exercise is an external technique for toning and strengthening the muscles for smooth-looking skin, to give you a natural face lift. Scientists now believe that we have a life expectancy of 120 years.

Simple toning exercises can help to firm the contours of the face and prevent or reduce the visible signs of aging that inevitably take their toll as the years pass by. Some simple rules will help you to maximize the stay young potential of your skin. Simple toning exercises can help to firm the contours of the face and prevent or reduce the visible signs of aging that inevitably take their toll as the years pass by. Some simple rules will help you to maximize the stay young potential of your skin.

Facial exercise is often performed by moving the pads of the fingers in an upward, outward motion over different areas of the face. Practitioners may massage areas or slightly pinch around the brow where facial tension is concentrated. Facial exercise is the smartest thing you can do to stop the cause of sagging eyelids but not all facial exercise programs work the same. Because scrunching and contortions are not exercises.

Facial exercises work great because it releases the stress and lines form on your face. I personally use the tips from http://www.facial-gymnastics.com/ it has worked very well for me.

Eye Creams, Eye Bags, Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles

The area of skin around your eyes is much thinner than the skin elsewhere on your face, it loses moisture easily because there are fewer oil glands and it is therefore more susceptible to damage, damage we can cause by our own actions or neglect and the damage that intrinsic aging can inflict on us. In short it can reflect not only the passing years but our diet and lifestyle too.

Two of the most common problems that effect the under eye area are dark under-eye circles and puffiness. Dark circles under the eyes are largely the result of tiny leakages of blood passing through the capillaries close to the skin's surface. As the skin is so thin these tiny leakages can show through as a dark area of discolouration. With age unfortunately the discoloration worsens as the skin becomes thinner and more translucent. Cosmetics companies have devised a number of strategies designed to help minimize the dark bluish tint, improving concealers by adding the minerals mica and silica--which refract light, producing eye creams that contain the vitamin K to help strengthen the tiny blood vessels and humectants that help with moisturising.

Bags under the eyes can be triggered by mild allergies, for example allergies to animals or certain dairy products. Puffy eyes can also occur if excess liquid collects in the soft tissue during sleep. You can find a temporary solution by simply standing and jumping up and down to allow the liquid to disperse.

Dark circles under the eyes and bags under the eyes can also be because of genetic traits, lack of sleep, hectic lifestyles and bad diets.

If the problems are seen in other members of your family skin lighteners may be your only option but for those who stay up late too often and eat poor diets then the answer to improving your appearance will lie in your own hands.

Cut down on your alcohol intake, cut out fast foods that contain too much salt and too many preservatives, do something about your nicotine addiction and get more better quality sleep.
Not only will your skin take on a brighter more youthful appearance but you will feel much better too!

Your eyes are the centrepiece of your face, there for the entire world to see and therefore keeping them framed in tired looking premature aging skin is not to be desired by the majority.
As well as self help in the fight against tired, dull looking eyes many of us these days are more and more focusing on the quick lift that the many eye creams that are now available can give.

While eye creams contain no special magic and are not the absolute answer to these problems, the boost to your self esteem and confidence that they can symbolize is very much worthwhile. One such product that today is becoming more and more popular both in the US and the UK too is Eyederma, an eye cream containing a mix of the Vitamin K and peptides that has been specially formulated to reduce eye puffiness and dark circles.

However, whichever product you choose to help you combat these irritating and sometimes depressing problems it must be able to reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness, tighten and firm sagging skin as well as providing the hydration to the under eye areas that will help restore a more vibrant and youthful appearance. No matter what you buy over the counter, no matter how much you spend nothing will improve your chances more of staying looking younger for longer than a good, sensible skin care regime.

Maybe tomorrow, that's much too late, better today!

Try These Herbs for Menopause

There are plenty of ways to address menopause symptoms. Of these methods, alternative therapy seems to be the most popular one. It consists of you undergoing different procedures like acupuncture and including herbs in your diet. In this article, we'll discuss herbs for menopause.

It's not surprising that herbal remedies seem to be the most considered method to try when treating menopausal symptoms. This is because the intake of herbs are considered safer (compared to other methods) and have received a lot of positive feedback from those who have actually tried them.

If you want to try herbs for the relief of menopausal symptoms, note that there are two basic types of herbs you can use. These are the phytoestrogen and the non estrogenic herbs. Phytoestrogen herbs are those that contain estrogenic properties (i.e., they help produce estrogen in a woman's body). Black Cohosh and Dong Quai are examples of these herbs.

Phytoestrogen herbs, however, are not best for treating hormonal imbalance. In addition, if you're taking something that's already increasing the production of estrogen, your body might decrease its own natural production of it, resulting in the further decline of hormones in your body. This may result in your body's hormonal balance to go hay-wire.
On the other hand, non estrogenic herbs do NOT provide additional estrogen into your body. Instead, they nurture the hormonal glands, prompting them to create natural hormones better.

In the end, these herbs aim to help your body produce your natural hormones, aiding in the better functioning of your endocrinal and pituitary glands.
As mentioned, more and more women are turning to herbal remedies to alleviate menopausal symptoms due to their perceived safety. However, not everything is perfect and there is a certain disadvantage to using herbs too: time. People who turn to herbal remedies for treatment of menopausal symptoms must be prepared to take these remedies for a longer period of time for them to truly take effect. If you want instant results, herbal remedies are not for you.

If you do pursue taking herbs, note that the latter type of herbs - the non estrogenic ones - are thought of by many as the better hormonal imbalance treatment. This is due to their lower cost (compared to phytoestrogen herbs) and their almost non-existent side effects.
So if you're experiencing menopausal symptoms and want a safe, low-cost, and risk-free way to treat them, try herbal remedies.

A New Cure For UTI?

Last month, Author and UTI survivor Gabriella Wilson, launched one of the more interesting sites on urinary infections; Not only for her unique life story, but also for unveiling her personal method of treatment, one that seems to fight chronic urinary infections in a way hasn't been seen by conventional medicine yet.

Being devastated with her 15 years of intensive antibiotic consumption, Gabriela Wilson, who used to encounter 10-15 urinary infections a years(!), was compelled to find an alternative solution for eliminating her chronic UTI. Having tested numerous alternative remedies, she now appears to have found the "holy grail treatment" for urinary infections, leaving her with 0 infections for the past two years.

The treatment method presented on Gabriela's site stroked us with its remarkable simplicity; One home made recipe, one herbal medicine, and a long set of preventative rules is all there is to it. Amazingly enough, this unique combination seems to have provided an ironclad weapon against the recurrence of her UTI.

But that's not all. Gabriela took her personal victory one step further, and decided to conduct a little "research" within an internet community she was involved in, pertaining to women who like her were facing a chronic condition of recurrent urinary infections:

"To my greatest amazement, 96.2% of the 179 who started applying my method of treatment reported of a tremendous renovation, not only in their urinary tracts but in other physiological aspects as well. 89.3% of them didn't have another urinary infection for the past 18 months".
Despite her being no more than just another average person, Gabriela's remarkable method of treatment has brought a relieving wind of change in the personal lives of quite a few other individuals as well, leaving conventional medicine practitioners puzzled and speechless.

Now, along with the hope for the success of a new (underdevelopment) UTI vaccine by our modern scientists, we should also take comfort knowing that there are alternative solutions for urinary infections that don't fall back from our western medical practices.

Remove Toxins From Your Body

Environmental pollution has reached alarmingly epidemic proportions. The environment is thoroughly contaminated by dangerous chemicals and heavy metals. Billions of pounds of toxic chemical are dumped into our air and water every year. Because the earth is a closed ecosystem, the worst effects can occur thousand of miles away from the source.

Toxic particles can work their way into our bodies through food, air and skin. When you eat, you ingest toxins from pesticides, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. When you breathe, you ingest toxins from pollution. When you touch things, chemical residue enters your pores. All of these can contribute to respiratory damage, heat disease and cancer.

Most homes are toxic because clothing, cookware, carpets, furniture are routinely coated with dangerous chemicals. Cleaning products, construction materials, dental fillings and medical vaccinations all contribute to toxic overload.
Poison and heavy metals in the environment don't necessarily pose an immediate threat (unless you are super sensitive). The hidden danger comes from accumulation. It's not one particular chemical or metal you need to worry about, it's being constantly exposed to a myriad of toxins that can build up in the body. When this happens, your natural disposal systems become overload, your organs become effected, and your immune system can get overwhelmed.

All following are though to be caused by or exacerbated by toxins:

Alopecia (hair loss and baldness)Accelerated agingAlzheimer Disease AnemiaArthritis AtherosclerosisAttention Deficit Disorder (ADD) AutismBirth defects Brain damageBronchitis Cancer (all)Cardiovascular disease CataractsCerebrovascular disease Chronic fatigueCirrhosis of the liver Colitis convulsions DementiaDiabetes Displaced CorneaDNA damage Encephalopaty (brain disease)Fetal Distress FibromyalgiaGenital Abnormalities GoutHeart attack Heart DiseaseHepatitis High blood pressureImmune System disorder Inhibition of LymphocytesT-cells and Monocytes Kidney damage and disorderliver damage and disease Lou Gehrig's DiseaseLupus Mental retardation Miscarriage Multiple SclerosisNeuropathy or Neuritis OsteoarthritisOsteoporosis Parkinson's DiseasePneumonia Reproductive DysfunctionRenal Toxicity Spontaneous AbortionStroke Seizure

Since it's virtually impossible to avoid toxins in today's modern world, it's critical that we do everything we can to quickly remove them from our bodies and minimize the damage they can do.

Detoxification can help in two ways. First, the high fiber content helps to remove toxins through safe and speedy elimination. It also "scrubs' the intestinal walls to get rid of putrefying waste that can block nutrients absorption and poison your system.
Secondly, the potent antioxidants and nutraceutical found in detoxification help to combat the damaging free radicals that toxin produce

Research has shown that Alpha Lipoic Acid is good for cleansing the liver of chemical poisons. German Physicians have been using Alpha Lipoic Acid since the 1960s to threat Diabetic polyneuropahty and Liver Cirrhosis. The treatment was later extended to heavy metal intoxification, toxic mushroom poisoning and oxygen related disease. Alpha lipoic Acid is believed to be a good metal chelator because of its easy absorption into the intracellular environment and its stability to complex metals that were previously bound to other sulfhydryl proteins. It is know to chelate (bind and remove) mercury, cadmium and lead.
Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorous and Inositol Hexaphosphate (IP6) are also known to act as heavy metal chelator.

What Is The Solution for Cellulite?

By Samantha A Bennett
The term cellulite used in front of a woman often results in a response along the lines of disgust and dismay, as the appearance can be unsightly; people that suffer with this find it tends to affect them mainly from the waist down. Although additional fat is normal in women, this is not just a problem exclusive to overweight women; even sporting women who do not carry much additional fat can have this condition.

Fat beneath the surface of the skin pushes against connective tissue causing it to give that dimpled look commonly known as cellulite. It may still be some time before medical science arrives at a definitive reason for why some people are more prone to this than others but it may have something to do with how toxins are held in the cells of some people.

One thing is certain though and that is as a persons age increases, the amount of this fatty tissue increases in the same way that wrinkles also form which is probably due to the reduction of the two components that keep the skin looking young; collagen and elastin. It is normally classified as a problem caused by hormones and is why men rarely suffer with the condition as fat in their bodies is consistent throughout.

Often the cellulite goes unnoticed and it is only when a person's muscles are compressed or the skin is pinched that it can be seen and felt but women should not feel depressed about the problem as most suffer with it to a greater or lesser degree. Many factors can influence the buildup; ranging from the sex of the person to their age, genetic make-up, skin type and skin thickness, all have a part to play in its formation.

Despite research, science has no answers to the definitive cause which means that any manufacturer can make claims but how to rid people of the condition including creams to make it disappear. A large number of cosmetic clinics are now offering a massage service which they say eliminates the cellulite but it in fact hides it by puffing up the skin in the areas affected.
Perhaps the most drastic therapy is liposuction where fat is literally sucked from the body or the more expensive procedure of injecting certain chemicals in a process called mesotherapy. These known remedies offer only temporary relief and are likewise not advisable as liposuction for example should only be used to remove deep fats and is not very effective in the removal of cellulite.

For people who are prone to the problem, there are no magic treatments for selective removal but there are now a number of creams on the market which are designed to help hide the effect it brings. Although no treatment can really help, adjustments to lifestyle habits seem to be a better option which means adopting a healthy diet, with regular physical activity and an overall reduction in weight.

If this is also followed by the adoption of drinking plenty of fresh water every day; unwanted toxins which can help in the formation of cellulite in the tissue are gradually removed.

Tips to Prevent Heat Rash

By Corwin Brown

Heat rash is a red or pink rash usually found on body areas covered by clothing. It can develop when the sweat ducts become blocked and swell and often leads to discomfort and itching. Heat rash is most common in babies, but may affect adults in hot, humid climates.

Heat Rash also can appear as large, reddened areas of skin. Babies and children are also more likely to be affected than adults because of their underdeveloped sweat glands, in which case the rash is commonly found in the nappy area and in the skin folds or on the neck. Heat Rash can also occur in cooler climates when sweating is a problem.

Heat rash can usually be identified by its appearance and does not usually require medical attention. However, if doesn't go away after 3 or 4 days, or if it appears to be getting worse, or if your child develops a fever, contact your health professional right away.
It usually occurs on clothed parts of the body, such as the back, abdomen, neck, upper chest, groin, or armpits and goes away on its own within a few days. In severe forms, however, heat rash can interfere with the body's heat-regulating mechanism and cause fever, heat exhaustion, and even death.

When working in the heat, monitor the condition of your co-workers and have someone do the same for you. Heat-induced illness can cause a person to become confused or lose consciousness. If you are 65 years of age or older, have a friend or relative call to check on you twice a day during a heat wave. If you know someone in this age group, check on them at least twice a day.
Aanti-histamine creams or medications will relieve the itch. Antibiotics and topical antiseptics are used to prevent bacterial blooms. Keep the skin cool and dry. Keep the sleeping area cool.
The best treatment for heat rash is to provide a cooler, less humid environment. Keep the affected area dry. Dusting powder may be used to increase comfort, but avoid using ointments or creams-they keep the skin warm and moist and may make the condition worse.

Apply hydrocortisone cream. For older children and adults, 1% hydrocortisone cream can kick the itch. A thin layer, applied to the rash two or three times a day, may help the bumps heal faster, too. Be sure to follow the package directions, and never use these creams on babies.
The power of vitamin C against the pain of prickly heat was demonstrated in a more controlled study carried out in Singapore by dermatologist T. C. Hindson, of the British Military Hospital there. It began with one of those happy accidents that the history of science is so full of. An Australian Air Force officer, troubled by a rash in his groin that had resisted all medication for a year, told the doctor that it suddenly cleared up in the course of a week when he caught a cold and started taking 1 g of vitamin C a day.

Summer is a time for fun and play but it can also be a time of discomfort when you can't beat the heat so take every precaution you can to have a healthy, happy summer. By playing it cool, you can beat the summer heat and the discomfort of heat rash.

Painful Periods? You Don't Have to Suffer Every Month

By Pamela Frank

Painful periods do not have to be a fact of life every month. In fact, you shouldn't need to take painkillers with your period. Really, you should be pretty unaware that your period is coming or that you have it other than the obvious flow.

Common causes of painful periods include:
The uterus spasms because the blood supply to the lining of the uterus, i.e. the endometrium, is reduced

Low levels of physical activity - lots of research shows that moderate exercise helps reduce menstrual cramping
Emotional stress
Growth of uterine tissue outside the uterus (endometriosis). This tissue enlarges in response to hormonal changes and presses on nearby nerves causing intense pain
Hormone imbalances - usually an estrogen dominance situation where there is either a relative increase in estrogen over progesterone, or there are circulating chemicals that are behaving like estrogen in your body causing too much estrogen-like activity

Imbalance of calcium and magnesium - Calcium is important in normal muscle contraction and magnesium is vital for normal muscle relaxation. Signs of muscle tension like cramping can often be relieved by rebalancing the two minerals.
Painful periods often lead to chronic use of painkillers and anti-inflammatories. These pose potential health risks such as liver toxicity, stomach ulcers and increased risk of clotting, heart attack or stroke.

Naturopathic Medicine Fixes
Improve Blood Flow - Castor oil packs, stress reduction and acupuncture can all be used to improve blood flow to the uterus

Physical Activity - Lifestyle counseling can help you incorporate regular physical exercise into your daily routine

Emotional Stress - Adaptogenic herbs, vitamins and minerals and regular exercise can all help your body cope with stress better

Endometriosis - Castor oil packs, acupuncture, elimination of dairy and wheat and liver detoxification can help resolve endometriosis tissue and remove the associated pain

Hormone Imbalances - The liver is responsible for making building blocks for new hormones and breaking down and clearing out the old. If the liver is congested hormone imbalances can occur. Liver detoxification can help.

Calcium and Magnesium Imbalances - Supplementation with a properly balanced calcium and magnesium product can help relieve muscle cramping and spasms that cause period pain.
All of the above approaches have no inherent health risks, only health benefits and can also help prevent hormone related diseases such as breast cancer.

There Is Hope For Sagging Breasts

By Janet Martin
On television and movies, women are portrayed as voluptuous vixens that need to be adored for their beautiful and sexy body. However, in the real world, women are actually not perfect and are inflicted with so many aesthetic problems.

One problem that many women complain about is their sagging breasts. In fact, some new mothers are afraid to breastfeed their children for fear that their boobs will droop because of frequent tugging and pulling, which are common when breastfeeding an infant. Although this is a common misconception, members of the female gender who want to maintain the fullness of the breasts still do not want to gamble.

Unless you have breast implants, there is a huge possibility that your breast will sag eventually, especially if you have naturally full breasts. The skin surrounding your chest will lose its elasticity in due course. Women who also jog and perform strenuous exercises without using proper sports bra may also see their boobs head south in a few years. Lastly, those whose weight fluctuates every so often are also likely candidates for sagging breasts.

Although implants or breast enlargement surgery can help you with your problem, such operations are expensive, painful and not always safe. But if you do not want to go under the knife, you do not have to despair. There is actually hope for sagging breasts. Read on and discover what you can do to help make your boobs appear perkier and fuller in no time at all.

Wear Proper Undergarments
Prevention is always better than cure. The same is true with regard to you breasts. If you do not want them to sag any further, you need to wear proper bra for different activities. If you think you will be performing an activity that will make your boobs shake up and down, you have to wear a good sports bra for maximum support. The jiggling and shaking could make your problem worse.

Exercise Your Chest Muscles
It is important to note that making your chest muscles firm will not make your breast become bigger and fuller. However, it will help make them appear perkier and more alert. Push-ups and lifting of dumbbells will help work out your chest muscles.

Mind Your Posture
While you are sipping your coffee inside your favorite restaurant or café, look out the window and observe the posture of women who are passing by. You will realize that those who are slouching, with their shoulders bent, seem to have either smaller chest or sagging boobs. On the contrary, those who have upright postures seem to have fuller and bigger breasts. So what do you have to do if you are already suffering from not-so-perky boobs? You have to stand and sit up straight all the time. Remember, stomach in and chest out!

Maintain Your Weight
If you want to maintain the firmness of your breasts, you need to maintain your weight. If you gained a lot of pounds and you think you have to lose weight because of health reasons, make sure that your weight loss is not sudden. It would also be better to incorporate exercise and weight lifting in your weight loss plan. Losing 25 pounds in just two weeks can be awesome, but when you are older, your skin is not that elastic anymore so it won't be able to cope with such fast weight loss. As a result, you will find hanging and wrinkly skin on your tummy, thighs, arms, and breasts.

Using breast firming or enlarging creams can also help perk up your drooping boobs. Just make sure that the product you pick and use is safe and all natural. One breast-enhancing gel that can make your sagging breasts look fuller is Clevastin. If you want to know more about this product, simply visit http://www.clevastin.com/.

Postpartum Relaxation Tips For New Mothers

By V. Pearson

Even new mothers need time for themselves and between trying to get in some postpartum exercises and taking care of your new baby you sometimes forget that you need to nurture yourself as well. You need to relax in addition to getting plenty of rest and exercise, but relaxing doesn't have to mean sitting down all of the time. Relaxing simply means taking a break from the chores of being a mother for just a little while to replenish yourself.

Easier said than done? Sometimes, but there is no rule book or child rearing manual that states you have to be on duty twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, especially the first few months of your babies life when babies are the most demanding. You need a break as well and its all right to ask someone you trust if they would watch the baby for a few hours so you can indulge in a long postpartum relaxation session of your own. Depending on how you gave birth and if you are cleared by your doctor, that relaxation session could be a long soak in the tub, a professional massage, or just a trip to the salon to get your hair and nails done.

Take The Time To Really Think About Your Postpartum Life:

Stop and contemplate on the things you used to love to do before you got pregnant. What made you feel good? What fulfilled your day? What can you work back into your now slightly more hectic schedule of feedings, laundry, and other daily chores that you do? Once you figure that out, find a way to do them again. Start out with one and see how it works out. For example, if you loved to write or journal, spend ten or fifteen minutes of your baby's nap to do that. It may not be as intricate or detailed as what you used to do, but you feel good about yourself when you do it and that is the main focus.

Get The Family Involved In Order To Get Your Postpartum Time In:

Postpartum relaxation could be aided by having someone help out around the house doing some of the things you simply hate, such as the dishes, dusting, cooking and laundry. If you're really lucky, you can get your significant other to do it. Otherwise, look into hiring a maid and or taking up a friend on their offer of 'if there is anything I can do call me'. Go out and have a good time with your significant other and leave the baby with someone you trust. If there is not a significant other call a friend or family member to spend some time with.

The idea behind postpartum relaxation is to have some 'me' time. Don't feel guilty about it. Questions and Answers About Headache and Migraine

By Tamer Shaban What Is a Headache?

According to the pocket Oxford medical dictionary:

"A Headache is a continuous pain in the head"
This pain may be varies in duration, intensity and distribution. You may find the pain in front or behind or in one side or both sides of the head. We all get Headache sometime, but it varies from person to person according to individual's social and occupational level. Stress is a common cause of various diseases including headache.

What is a Migraine?

Also According to the pocket Oxford medical dictionary:
'Migraine is a recurrent throbbing headache often with nausea and visual disturbance."
Migraine is a type headache usually occurs in one side of the head with or without occurrence of symptoms before headache, we call these symptoms (aura) which are "disturbance of vision, may be temporary loss of vision, nausea, vomiting and increase sensitivity to light.

How we feel headache and migraine?
Briefly, the brain does not contain pain nerves but we feel pain from nerves outside the brain which are located along the superficial area of head and in the muscle layer.
What are types or classification of headache?
If we simplify The International Classification of Headache Disorders, 2nd Edition this will classify types of headache into three types or classes:

1-Primary Headache:
This section contains:

Migraine and headache due to tension
2-Secondery Headache:

This section contains:
• causes related to the brain such as: head trauma, vascular and non vascular

• causes due to disease inside the brain such as tumor

• causes due to using or stop using some drugs and substances

3-Neurolagia and other headache
This section contains causes due to inflammation or irritation of nerves
What are types or classification of Migraine?

Typically we found there are two mainly types:
• Migraine with aura which is characterized by symptoms before migraine headache occurs, these symptoms is very short in duration as visual disturbance and followed by headache and sometimes without headache.

• Migraine without aura is characterized by its recurrence and occurrence without the above symptoms.

There are other types or subtypes we don't discuss here

Treating Your Hair Right

By Andrew Stratton
Fashion industry have a greater influence to most people on what color, styles and length a person's hair could be. You see that these days, being bald is no longer something you could hide forever. The truth is that bald is one of the stylistic trend these days. Women on the other hand opt to wear hair extensions on some occasions, have their hairs colored/dyed and wear wigs on special events. You can never tell which is real because of so many options available for both sexes.

However, with the growing obsession to hair dyeing, many people lost their good and vibrant hair in the long run. Some of the common problems related to extreme hair coloring are the drying of hair and of course, losing of its natural elements. Researches found out that a dry hair lacks the essential natural content and the moist the hair should possess to maintain its health and smoothness.

Other damage of extreme hair coloring is that it weakens the hairs' attachment to an individual's scalp. For this reason, the around 150,000 individual strands of hair lose their good grip on the person's scalp, lose the shimmer and strength.
But that's not all. There are also physical factors why a person's hair weakens in the long run. Understandably, there are people who are originally having weak hair strands. Further, with the adoption of fashion and application of aggressive hair chemicals eventually could lead to hair breakage and the worse is hair lost permanently.
What are the other factors why others lose their beautiful hair? The following can be seriously considered:

• Excessive and inappropriate use of blow drier

• Application of harsh and aggressive hair detergents for dying purposes

• Inappropriate combing or inappropriate choice of comb or brush

• Menkes kinky hair syndrome

• Hyperthyroidism can be a great contributor in hair loss or drying of hair

• Deficiency in vitamin k like anorexic status

• Extreme exposure to sunlight or pollutants

Given the above factors, it's important for you to take care of your hair. As you all know, the hair adds up to your personality and a good hair indicates good crown for its owner so why waste or abuse it to its destruction? Taking care of your hair is very simple. All you need to have is take time to understand the reasons why your hair drying. You may want to discuss this with a trusted health care provider for you to get the best possible assistance.

On the other hand and if you're on the process of buying stuffs for your hair, make sure to consult a good doctor or a hair specialist before using any chemical. The last and best option for you is to keep a proper diet, enhance your vitamin k intake and expose yourself to beneficial sunlight. Allow your scalp to sweat naturally for it also releases the hair's natural oil. Never over use will shampoo for it break good hair lines. Lastly, make sure to free your hair most of the time and use a good brush or comb.

How Hair Removal Works

By Jitesh Arora Today people are opting for quick and permanent hair removal methods. Laser hair removal is one of the methods which is a permanent solution for unwanted body hair. Does hair removal really works? This the most common question asked by the people. The laser hair removal method is permanent solution for the unwanted hair because it acts on the hair follicles. This method is being used world wide because it is practically painless. A person has to go under series of hair removal treatments for best results.
It is very important to discuss the type of skin prior to the treatment. You should find all the information about laser hair removal technique. The physician who is going to perform the treatment should be qualified and skilled. The cost of the treatment depend on the number of treatment sessions. One treatment session can cost from 500$ to 700$. The laser hair removal method is easy and effective and does not have any adverse effects if conducted in a proper way.
The methods like shaving plucking and waxing are getting unpopular because of irritation and pain they can cause. It is a wise decision to be away from the sunlight one week prior to the surgery as it will minimize the side effects. The most common areas where this technique is performed are face, back, upper lip and periareolar region. The most common side effects of the procedure are redness, pigmentation and swelling but these complications are temporary and can be minimized if proper care is taken.

A Healthy Holistic Approach

"The first thing he noticed when he got into the city was the air; it tasted used, as if it had been in and out of hundreds of other mouths by the time it got to his."

"The second thing was the noise. It ebbed and flowed, changing subtly all the time - and loud...He found it odd that the people walking around him didn't seem to notice the noise, or at least weren't disturbed by it. Personally he wondered how anyone could hear themselves think with such a racket going on all the time."

This excerpt was taken from a novel that I have been reading for the past few weeks - it says a lot about health and humanity.

If you want maximum performance in your lifestyle then you must put the best ingredients into your body.
- Of all the prerequisites for health and happiness, air/oxygen is one of the most important - and perhaps one of the ingredients that is taken most for granted.
- Air is, or should, be taken into the lungs via the nostrils.
- They filter, warm and humidify the air before it reaches the lungs.
- Breathing should be practised isochronally (equal in duration): in-hold-out-hold and should be performed from the diaphragm - ensuring that a greater volume of air is taken in.
- Most people breathe in a manner that is very shallow and often through the mouth - panting like a dog.
- The breathing of 'passive air' - air that has been filtered through air conditioners, saturated with stale odours, full of effluents etc is not fit for health.
- If our daily habitat is one of restriction - we should strive to get outdoors - to the beach - at altitudes - in order to replenish the body with the best air possible.
Silence is the best companion for rest.
- Unfortunately, we are so accustomed to 'background noise' that we are unaware of the amount of 'aural stimulation' that goes on in our daily lives.
I used to live on a flight path in a big city. I swear that sometimes it sounded like a 747 was going to land on my roof - however, after a while I was able to attenuate the noise and block it out of my mind.
- If you find yourself in an environment in which noise is your constant companion - get as far away from the source as often as possible.
I love to visit parks, forests and beaches - to stop and listen to nothing but nature's gentle movements - they revive me.

Don't take the little things for granted - it is only by practising a truly holistic approach to health that you will attain to the highest level of happiness.
All the best in creating peace and harmony in your lifestyle.

Love Yourself To Good Health

By Jenny Regeling
So as previously stated love yourself-like yourself, whichever you feel comfortable with out loud. But break through this barrier daily.

HOW ??? HOW DO I START EACH DAY POSITIVE & HAPPY ???
Before you arise from your comfy bed in the morning no matter what time it is, be positive right from the start. Stop grumbling about the cold or having to get up early for work etc. etc Do or say what you think will make you feel good about the rest of your day. I start by saying "Thank you God for another beautiful day!" -- rain, hail or shine ! It's up to you entirely but that's my reassurance for a good start to the exciting time ahead.
Once again -- it's your choice but consider the best choice possible to make your day start and continue in the best possible way.

One of the many things I learnt from being ill was that my cells were of huge importance to my well-being. A big fresh, homemade juice, is I find, a great start to the day. Not bottled (although it is fine to drink bottled to a certain degree) but personally I like to put the fresh juice I have made into my cells and let it do the very best work possible to my body.

Please note:
Everything I tell you I do to survive and live my life the best way I think possible, and to continue to do so; are my decisions based on the help I have acquired and accepted after pursuing so many different avenues of advice. It is up to you to seek your avenues of advice and knowledge and make your own decisions based on those studied yourself. This is just a guide but everyone is different and every situation is also different. But it is worth the research-by reading or talking to people.
It is worth -- Your Life !

Remember what I said in previous chapters -- your decisions from your heart and soul, I believe, are a huge contributor to your personal healing process. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it. Can A Cyst Become Cancerous?

Now, here's the big question.
That's again the cancer fear that all women have. The answer, I'd say is no. This has been looked at pretty, pretty extensively. There was a rather large study I think it was in Sweden. They looked at something like 90,000 - they've got a very sophisticated system of registry in Sweden where they can look at data. And something like ninety thousand women were paired with 90,000 normal ones and the various kinds of cysts, endometriomas, the functional cyst, the non-functional cyst. And they said "Well what's the likelihood any of these women come back for ovary cancer"? And there was no difference. If you had an ovary cyst that was benign you had no increased incidence of having cancer later. The only difference in this was endometrioma which had a slight increase difference. And possibly the reason for that is something to do with estrogen sensitivity around the ovary. But again it's, it was somewhat more common but it's nothing to say "My gosh, I've got endometrioma, by now I've got to have cancer". That should be the farthest thing from a persons mind. So I'd say without question your -
The fact that one has a cyst it is not going to develop to, you do not have an increased cancer risk. Now certainly the cystadinomas it's felt that some of these, these are the benign tumors. Can these cystadinomas develop into cystoadnocarsonoma? The answer is, yes probably. But, once you've removed it, the cystadinoma, as well as removing the dermoid cyst, which are very rarely cancer you've eliminated that risk. If a woman is going to have a cancerous cyst it's going to be there from a cancerous cyst per say. She most likely is over the age of fifty and their, in general the reproductive years do not have, a woman does not have to be concerned that a cyst is going to transgress, develop into a cancer.
There was something else I wanted to mention. I'm sure we've got several questions, yet I do want to go through these. I think that's pretty much my overview on cysts and the various diagnoses of cysts, the types of cysts. The treatment we can summarize that at the end.
What happens when a cyst is likely to rupture?
This is probably the number one life threatening complication that New York OB/GYN Christopher Freville has to deal with on an almost basis. A cyst can rupture be it a, most likely it's a follicular cyst or a corpus luteum cyst. These are the so-called functional cysts, or the functional cyst with pregnancy. When they rupture generally nothing happens. In fact, there's usually a pressure relief.
Because any distended cyst is often what gives, as a cyst's nerves are increased by the distension, by the fluid, that's often what causes the pain. The relief of the pain comes whenever it ruptures. Often like, unfortunately a ruptured appendix. Sometimes when a patient feels an appendix ballooning up and brings him to the doctors the fact that the appendix becomes distended. Immediately after that there's a rupture and they don't feel the pain. Unfortunately what causes the problems with ruptured cysts is if the cyst has a very rich blood supply and that blood supply, the arteries start pumping blood and don't seal off and the abdomen can fill up with blood. And I've dealt with many cases both as an ectopic pregnancy, but the conditions usually much worse, but also, as a, rarely as a ruptured cyst that's bleeding off a cystic pregnancy. And often times the abdomen can literally become distended. In a severe case woman can go into shock meaning their blood pressure falls out, it's an emergency, life threatening situation that if undiagnosed can be fatal. Fortunately, with emergency rooms being equipped the way they are, doctors being as smart as we are - we rarely miss this. But once in a great while this is a complication. And when the cyst ruptures it doesn't, you can usually preserve the ovary. Usually it can be sutured over, quarterized. The ovary stays in tact and even in a rare case if it had to be removed, again that does not affect fertility.

How To Apply Makeup

By Sarah J Barton

Most women wear makeup at some point or another. There are many tricks and tips to putting make up on successfully. Knowing some of the tips and tricks on how it is best applied proves quite helpful to any ones daily beauty regime. Everyone likes to get all dolled up at times, but truthfully, it is not always a good thing to put so much makeup on your skin. To start, always remember to wash off the make up that you do wear at the end of the night. Its one of the best things you can do to let your skin breathe and rejuvenate. Moisturize after washing so your skin stays soft and supple.

Teenagers are the first group that can benefit from a few makeup tips, especially for those who are doing it for the first time. It's easy to try to go overboard and plaster it on too heavy, but it's entirely unnecessary. First off, most teenagers have a natural glow to their skin, due to youth and age. To begin with, find a good skin cleanser that is formulated for your skin. There are many different kinds of cleansers-you may need one for dry skin, oily skin or for combination skin. Wash your face thoroughly with the right cleanser. Use a good moisturizer to smooth lotion on your face and down into your neck. Make sure not to apply too much as it will make applying your makeup more difficult. It's also best to use a lotion that has a sunscreen in it, preferably with an SPF of 30 or higher. Don't think that wearing make up will prevent you from getting sunburn in the hotter months, because it won't. Give yourself a few minutes before applying your cosmetics to let the lotion sink in.

You are now ready to apply a very light layer of a good foundation onto your skin. Another good rule of thumb is to purchase a foundation that also has a sunscreen built into the ingredients. You can check the contents of any moisturizer or makeup to see if there is a sunscreen in it. When you are choosing a foundation, try to match it as closely to your skin tone as possible. You definitely do not want it to be too dark for your skin, as this will look terrible and obvious that you are wearing makeup. If you are not sure, rub some onto your wrist, or go a shade lighter. Going lighter is better than going darker. Try to get the best possible match that you can achieve. When applying foundation, use either the tips of your fingers or a soft sea sponge. A sea sponge can be purchased at your local pharmacy or store. Start by applying the foundation in an upward motion. This will enable you to spread the foundation better and help keep it from splotching on your face.

After the above is on, apply a light application of powder to keep your foundation on. The powder should match the color of the foundation as best as possible. After you have done this, you will then be ready to put on a light application of eye liner. A black and brown combination is a good bet to try, and can usually even be purchased as a combination set. When applying eyeliner, it is best to avoid too much black, as it may end up looking like you are trying too hard. Take the pencil in the hand that you use to draw with and start at the edge of your lower eyelid. Draw a light line of eye liner either on or just under the edge of your lower eyelid. Most women have their own way of doing this. Next will come mascara, if you want. The mascara you choose will come with a small brush already inside the bottle. It is usually best to choose a shade that is close to the color of eyeliner you are wearing. Brush the mascara over your lashes smoothly and evenly, trying not to apply too much of it. You want to avoid clumping your mascara, but you can always use an additional mascara brush to try and even out your lashes if need be. You are now ready to apply just a bit of blush, again at a color that matches your skin tone. Apply it high on your cheekbones for a soft effect.

Lastly, a bit of light lip gloss can really complete your look. Lip gloss comes in many colors and flavours, but clear lip gloss is always a good bet to put on. You have now learned how to put on makeup, and it does get easier the more you practice it.
Once you have been applying make up for awhile, you tend to get bored doing it. That's why it is a good idea to develop a routine where you can get it all on within about five minutes. It is quite possible to achieve a beautiful looking face in that small amount of time, no matter who you are. When you first get up in the morning, and have already showered, many of us just want a fresher looking face. Others simply want a quick routine that will make them look good in the least amount of time possible.

First thing, have all your makeup ready to go where you will be applying it. You do not want to lose time by looking for various items. Organise everything in a nice basket and keep it all together in the bathroom or on your vanity table. Do not try too hard to apply your make up because sometimes the harder you try to do it perfect the worse it comes out. Apply it with a light hand and you'll be amazed at the results you will achieve. First, put on your moisturizer onto your face and throat like always. Put a bit of foundation on your sea sponge or fingertips and spread quickly over your face, blending it in to look natural. Next, powder your face to get the foundation to set in and rid yourself of the shine.

Grab hold of your eyeliner and do a quick sweep on your eyes, the same goes for your mascara. Put a bit of blush on for color: use a bit of lip gloss to sweep over your lips to give them a shine. You're done! You have just learned how to apply your makeup in five minutes or less. It is really easy to accomplish the art of applying makeup. It just takes a bit of practice!

Caring for Oily Skin Types

By Simon Merkel

Beautiful, healthy skin starts with cleansing and toning - an important step for both morning and night-time skin care. There are 5 basic skin care types: Oily, combination, sensitive, dry and sun-damaged.
Oily skin has a terribly negative effect on self-esteem as well as body image. Greasiness and shine often outweigh acne concerns. Oil (sebum) is produced by sebaceous glands. Normal sebum production performs the important job of lubricating your skin. Sebum also carries with it dead skin cells shedding from your hair follicle walls. The amount of sebum an individual generates is determined by genetics (and often increases during adolescence). While excess sebum is not directly responsible for acne, it can contribute to clogged pores.
In this kind of skin, oil producing glands are overactive. They produces more oil than is needed, which oozes up, giving the skin a greasy shine. Oily skin tends to look thick, shiny and dully colored, and is often susceptible to skin maladies such as acne, blackheads, whiteheads and pimples as the excess oils in the skin manifest
If you want good skin, the most important thing is to take care of it daily. First you cleansing your face. It is necessary to clean skin and the pores to remove dirt, dust, excess oil, salt, and waste coming within and coming from outside the body. Wash your face and other skin of body with plenty of water to get it cleaned.Second skin toner should be utilized to revitalize the skin and to get it a proper complexion.
Toning improves blood circulation in the skin and helps skin tissues to remain tight and firm. Use oil-free, noncomedogenic sunscreen whenever sun exposure is expected. If you skin is extremely oily (e.g. oily even after basic cleansing), you can follow with alcohol-based toner with salicylic acid. Some people with oily skin may benefit from a clay/mud mask once a week. Nourishing is very important to maintain the natural oil of the skin to make the skin lively. Different vitamin skin cream could be used to nourish the skin. Skin gets dry and looses its gloss. To give it the real look moisture should be applied from outside in the form of cream or lotion. It is better to use moisture just after bath. You could also use a clay mask (say once a week) as an oily skin care measure.
Oily Skin Care tips are essential. Lean about Blackheads and Acne Skin Care

Treating Stretch Marks - 3 Of The Most Common Ways To Lose Your Stretch Marks Fast

By Cavyl Stewart
Maybe you have tried some of the traditional ways of treating stretch marks. You have tried using cocoa butter, vitamin E, and Retin-A, but none of them has done the trick. Now, you want to try a treatment that promises more dramatic results.

If topical treatments aren't working for you, there are other options. These three cosmetic procedures have proven to drastically diminish the depth and appearance of stretch marks.

Microdermabrasion Might be one Solution

During a microdermabrasion treatment, dead skin cells, including skin with color imperfections, are removed from the surface of the skin. The result is stretch marks that are smoother and less visible. And the entire procedure takes less than an hour.

Not only is microdermabrasion a fast procedure, there is also no downtime. You can leave the doctor's office and continue on with your daily routine. However, you might need several treatments to get the results you want.

The Benefits of Laser Scar Reduction

Laser scar reduction, also called laser scar removal, is a treatment that can dramatically reduce the appearance of scars by as much as 50 to 80 percent.

During this treatment, a laser is run across the scars, and removes the top layer of skin. A new layer of skin is revealed and, as this newly revealed skin layer heals and regenerates, patients find that their stretch marks aren't as deep, and the skin has returned to more of a natural color. So stretch marks are less visible and noticeable.

A Chemical Peel Is another Option

A chemical peel can both reduce or eliminate the skin discolorations associated with stretch marks, and make the scars less deep and visible.

During a chemical peel, a product that contains some type of acid is painted onto the area. The procedure removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, and also stimulates the generation of new, healthy skin cells.

A chemical peel will help return discolored skin to a more natural color. It will also make stretch marks shallower and less visible.

Recovery time for a chemical peel varies. After a light peel, you can get back to your daily routine within a few hours. After a medium peel, your doctor might suggest you stay home and rest for about a week. And, after a deep peel, recovery time will last for at least two weeks.

If you are looking for the best way of treating stretch marks, there are many options. After considering them all, you might decide that either microdermabrasion, laser scar reduction, or a chemical peel is the right option for you.
